Protection of vulnerable children
Volunteers, interns and others who come into contact with children in Uganda are briefed in advance on behavioural aspects and are required to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). In addition, you endorse the Child Protection Policy. This document describes the rights of children, the protection of their integrity in situations both inside and outside of education, and the sanctions policy for violations by employees.

Costs
The cost of your stay depends on the number of nights you spend on campus. You are responsible for booking your own flight ticket to Entebbe.
For stays longer than 3 weeks
The basic price you should expect to pay is €250. This covers your transfer to and from the airport and the Dutch supervision on site. Accommodation in the guest house costs €10 per person per night.
For stays shorter than 3 weeks
For stays shorter than 3 weeks, you pay €15 per person per night. We can also pick you up and drop you off at the airport. The total cost for this is €100 per car (return). This is a total amount per car, which can carry a maximum of 4 people.
Would you like to visit your sponsored child as a family? Then we will make a separate calculation for you. Please contact us for more information.
