Kinderhulp Afrika is a Christian charity that looks after the most vulnerable children in Uganda: the orphans. Since 1987, we have been providing these children with education, accommodation, spiritual and medical care. Our aim is to see them grow up to become healthy, responsible individuals who can meet their own needs in every aspect of their lives.

Sponsor a child
You can help a child in a very personal way. For every orphan at our school, we search a sponsor parent. By receiving school reports, pictures and drawings and by writing letters to ‘your’ child you can stay in touch and follow the child’s development. We have noticed that it means a lot to the children to have a sponsor parent or family.

Save energy costs
Recently, 75 lampposts have been replaced by 25 solar lampposts. A saving of € 2,500 per year. These new lampposts illuminate half of our site. Another 25 solar lampposts are needed to illuminate our entire site. Will you help?
