Rihanna
Rihanna is 12 years old. She has already endured so much in her young life. Her mother passed away when she was only four months old. Her father does not care for her, and the money he earns is spent on alcohol.
Thankfully, an aunt stepped in and lovingly cared for her after her mother’s death. Later, when her aunt went through a divorce, Rihanna was taken to live with her grandmother. Sadly, her grandmother passed away not long after, and Rihanna returned to live with her aunt once again.
Her aunt deeply wants to care for Rihanna, but she struggles to make ends meet herself. She is a single mother with only temporary work. Rihanna was able to attend school from time to time, but she was often sent home because her aunt could not afford the school fees. Now that her aunt’s own child has started school, there is no money left to send Rihanna to school at all.
For the past year, Rihanna has been forced to stay at home simply because there is no money. Her aunt longs to give her a better future, which is why she came to us asking for help.
We are looking for a sponsor parent so that Rihanna can return to school and continue her education. Rihanna loves to sing and enjoys playing with her friends.
