FROM HOPELESS TO HOPEFUL

Kinderhulp Afrika supports vulnerable children in Uganda.
We do this by providing quality education and coaching the children in every area of life from an early age. That truly makes a difference! Vulnerable children grow into young adults who take their place in society and provide for themselves. That is how we help children move from vulnerable to empowered.
Together with you, we can make a real difference in the lives of these children.
Impact story
Irene is one of the passionate teachers at the Namugongo school. She puts her heart into caring for the children. When Irene was only 6 years old, she lost both her parents. Suddenly, she was left completely alone. Thankfully, sponsor parents stepped in, making it possible for her to attend school and complete her education. And now, what a joy it is that she is giving back by teaching children herself at the Namugongo primary school.
News
From 2–12 March 2026, we are organizing a construction trip to Uganda! This is for anyone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and wants to make a real difference. Together we will build a shade hut and paint the children’s dormitories!
Kinderhulp Afrika helps vulnerable children in Uganda from a Biblical perspective. Together with our partner organization Children’s Welfare Mission, we run a primary school, secondary school, and vocational school in Namugongo.
The leadership and staff are all Ugandan. More than 1,000 children receive education and all the care they need on campus. Many of them are orphans or come from very poor families. What makes our approach unique is that every child has the opportunity to continue their studies at a vocational school or university for two to three years after graduation. From an early age, the children are coached to discover their talents and strengths, so that they can take their rightful place in society.
That is from hopeless to hopeful.
