The current ultrasound machine is outdated
The clinic is vital for people in the surrounding area. Many patients arrive with serious conditions, such as enlarged blood vessels or abnormalities in the liver or kidneys. People also visit the clinic for pregnancy check-ups and less serious complaints that still require an ultrasound.
The doctors and nurses are fully dedicated and work with heart and soul to help their patients. Unfortunately, they are facing a major challenge. The ultrasound machine is outdated and only produces a grainy image. This means that accurate diagnoses cannot always be made. It is not always clear whether a situation is life-threatening or harmless.
