Trevor
Trevor is an 11-year-old boy and the eldest of two children. His life changed dramatically when his father passed away. Since then, his mother has been raising the family on her own. She works tirelessly as a laundress in a suburb of Kampala, but despite her hard work, she earns barely enough to provide for her family. Sadly, her late husband's relatives do not support her.
Trevor loves learning and was always happy to go to school. However, there were many times he had to return home because his mother could not afford the school fees. As a result, he has fallen behind in his education and is now studying at a level below what would normally be expected for his age.
Outside the classroom, Trevor is an active, cheerful boy who loves playing football.
